ROAD DISTRICT
PUNS BARRED
An opinion from the district at
torney's office Saturday put a
damper on plans for formation of
small road districts in Klamath
county.
Deputy District Attorney L.
Ortb Sisemore informed the comb
ty court that the law provides for
formation of road districts of in
corporated towns and of drainage
districts containing 5000 or more
acre.. The remainder of the coun
ty, he said, must constitute one
road district.
These provisions, the attorney
stated, make the formation of
small, independent road districts,
such as that proposed by the pato
pie of St. Francis park, an impow
aibility under the law.
