LTUOUS TRADE
CHICAGO, July 18. (VP)
After a day of tumultuous trad
ing and sensationally wide fluc
tuations, grain markets today at
the wind-up stood little altered
from last week's latest level.
Forecasts of abatement of
drought and heat were fulfilled
but to a relatively slight extent,
the promised relief seeming to
hare spent Its force chiefly be
fore reaching the grain belt
proper. Ruins in Canada were
partly orfset by official esti
mates that the 1936 Canadian
wheat crop would be reduced to
27fi, 000,000 bushels.
Wheat closed nervous, 1-11
under Saturday's finish, July
1.02, Sept 1.03M.O4; Dec. 4-il;
corn i down to 11 advanced,

unchanged to higher, and pro
visions varying from 17 cents
setback to a rise of 2 cents.
