agreement for limitation of bat
tleships Is In sight, It waa stated
Wednesday after a meeting of
British and American delegates
rejuvenated the moribund naval
conference.
The proposed agreement would
limit Britain, United States,
France and Italy to construction
of two capital ships of 35,000
tons and 14-Inch guns for the
aix-year duration of the pros
pective treaty.
The four powers agreed pre
viously on, cruisers, aircraft can
rlora, submarines and other cate
gories of war vessols.
