Driver Sentenced
After Auto Crash
On Merrill Road

mitted to th county Jail Tuesday
onfallura to pay a $25 fine after
pleading guilty to a chart.' of
reckless driving.
Brldgewator was taken Into cus
tody after allegedly, making a
false report bis car bad been
stolen.
About S p. m., Monday, the
shorlff's office received a tele
phone call from Hrldgewater at
the hotel. He said bis car ha.
been stolen at Dorrls.
About the same tin -, the sher
iff received a call turn Merrill
that an automobile rad been
wrecked at the Lont river bridge,
this side of Morrill. The deputy
sheriff at Merrill said that some
one overheard the driver remark
that "be didn't care, the car waa
stolen anyway." The man, the
deputy reported, had caught a
ride to Klamath Falls.
The farmer was contacted and
told the officer ha had left hi
