Hollywood were in Klamath Falls
this week, visiting Green's
mother, Mr. Myrtle Duffy and
also his brother, "Babe" Green.
Mrs. Green, a noted dance ,
will join Rube Wolff In San
Francisco after a short vacation
here. Green is a well-known
pianist Mrs. Green teams Kith
her brother to form a famous
Araglo dance combination.
They have recently closed an
engagement at Loew's Warfleld
theatre In San Francisco.

the Diamond Jubilee celebration

With the caravan ot car from
Klamath Falls was the American
Legion drum corps and the Royal
Neighbors' drill team.
The drum oorps and drill team
paraded through Ashland as well
as through the streets ot Mod-
ford during tho day, set aside as
"Trail day."
E. U. Hall, president ot the
Cascade Wonderland association,
presided at a luncheon at noon nt
the Medtord hotel.
Wednesday was the ooenlni
day tor the rodeo. Today will b
Pioneer day.
Friday the ehamber ot com
merce will sponsor the Klamath
Union high school band showing
at the celebration.
Mary M'Comb Is
Named Librarian

ed county librarian at a mooting
of the county library board Wed
nesday afternoon.
Miss McComb has been with
the city library for several years.
and Is a graduate of Oregon State
college. It Is understood her sal
ary will be 1113.50 per month.
