advanced the same amount, to a
general minimum ot 19c for "A"
grade, Portland. . -
While there continued much
Irregularity In the egg trade, quo
tation were generally being
maintained here at th recent ad
vance to 17c for extraa. with
orer-slzo at 19c. Tbara haa been
no change In buying values.
Chicken Mart BWady -
Tbare appeared no change In
tha general chicken market ton
for the day. Llaht hena were
still selling around 12c to 13io
with heavy as high as 15c, witn
Leghorn broilers at 14e for 1
pounds and more. Owing to tbe
weather conditions dressed chick
ens cannot be safely shipped.
There was a wide spread In
soiling price on dressed turkeys
here, due to the great difference
In quality.
While California strawberrlea
were eteady aa a rule for the
day, some offerings showed very
erratic values. Top stuff gener
ally commanded 31.26 per crate
for 24s. There continued Insuf
ficient Oregons to establish a

livestock price. Hogs were about
