No Contracts Made : Wool or mohair consigned to louses under the foregoing pro - visions shall be sold with a ; commission charge ot 2 cents per pound on original bag wool, and an additional one-half cent , per pound for wool that requires grading, with tree storage and Insurance for fonr months plus , guarantee ot sales accounts. , After the four-month period, ' charges for storage and insur ance shall be at the rate ot 15 . cents per bag per month. Freight . and cartage for wool or mohair shall be charged for at actual east with interest at 6 per cent cn the amount involved. ,' Handling of government mortgaged wool in this manner last year was credited with strengthening the market and giving the growers a consider ably improved price. About 25 per cent of the wool in the Klamath country is free fleece. There was no verification r-ere Wednesday ot reports of large wool contracts either made or pending in this area. Western States to Demand Share of Navy Building ' SAN FRANCISCO. Jan. 26. (UP) Representatives of six .lar western states tonight were to be organized to demand that congress and the navy depart ment award to Pacific coast ship yards their fair share in con struction under the proposed $380,000,000 navy expansion program. ' Most of the coast shipyards have been Idle since 1918. A recent survey by the San Fran cisco bay industrial committee showed that , at least five ship building plants on the Pacific coast are adequately equipped ana ready to begin construction immediately. They are the Moore Shipbuilding Co. of Oak land, the General Engineering Co., ot Alameda, the Los Ange les Shipbuilding Co., at Los An geles, and the Todd Shipbuilding uo and Berg Shipbuilding Co. oi Seattle.
