Besides being a member of the Pacific basin good will tour. Pfaff haa had a distinguished university career. His major In college is law. Last year he rep resented the University of Ore gon in an International debate with Oxford university. England. The same year he won the award for the best oration on world peace. In the Murray-Warner essay contest which la held each year at Oregon. Pfaft won scholar ship to a Japanese university because ot nis iiiowir i 1 -clfic affairs. His subject was on Japanese-American relations and was declared by critics to offer a new solution to the prob ' lems that confront the two na tions today. Due to peculiar conditions ex isting In the world at the pre sent time, thta university atu dent had the rare opportunity to witness many strange situations throughout the Pacific basin where the attention ot the entire world la now attracted. Pfnff at present is on a tour of California and southern Ore gon speaking to Rotary clubs. While on the good will tour he addressed Rotarians in every country of the Pacific basin.
