day started its overtime session with 70 proposals wait
ing action in both houses. The senate, among its 41
bills on third reading, will have for consideration the
Tualatin tunnel bill following its report after having
been rewritten several times, and after an attempt had
been made to relieve the state of responsibility in this
proposed $5,000,000 highway project.
