The latest team to enter the
Klamath Falls City Basketball
League is the Cliquot Club team
ot Shaw-Bertram. These boy.
hare been turning out with oth
er entered team, and are In tine
condition for the .tart ef the
playing schedule next week.
The Cliquot Club has signed
tip to play as me youngest
group in the league. Although
they do not expect to win the
championship, they are inspired
with fight and hope. They expect
to take two or three years to
build the team into a wwnu.(
combination and then keep it
that way.
Bailey Maxwell Is aa all star
forward from down south and
has lots of experience. Otis Wil
son ha. had three years ot hlrh
school ball snd la one of the best
bowlers In the city. Art Leslie
won his letter in high school for
three years and Is a real threat
as a forward. Dwalne Brown,
forward, is another chap with
real ability, aa Is Harvey Dean,
who won hi. letter In high school
playing a. a guard.
Bob Buerman comes here to
play from the Boise, Idaho, hlrh
school team and will aid tbe
team In getting tile ball. He Is
their high-jumping center. Roy
Thexton ia a man with lots ot
ability and comes from fast
company. He waa center and
captain of the Spokane high
school fire. Roy will manage
tbe Cliquot Clou.
