The Hollywood Story
-y ERNEST LYNN
To Hollywood they came from all over, answering the siren call of the
movies. From Tulsa came Anne Winter, hoping to start as an extra. ;
From New York came Dan Rorimer, newspaperman and author, with
a contract to write scenarios. Mona Morrison, another extra, came
from Chicago; Eva Harley from New Orleans.
Millions of people are interested in the movies and those who make
them. Hollywood is a magic name, a glamorous Place. "The Holly-
wood Story," The Herald's latest serial, takes you behind the scenes
in the motion picture capital and shows what happens. It's a fast-moving
narrative, a fine love story, an equally fine bit of reporting by an
ex-reporter. "The Hollywood Story" is the greatest newspaper novel
in years.
