AMERICA GETS
After winning two records ear

through the performance of an

four-speed Graham-Paige again
took title to the International

the class ot cars from 100 to

The record-breaking run was

While the biggest vacation

country which indicate that, in
the new type "400" Nash models,

At the opening ot tha present
season, the international 100-kilometer

to ths credit ot a Delate, a
French car famous for Us high
speed. In April, its records ware
successfully attacked by tha Graham-Paige
eight, which raised
the figures to nearly 80 miles
per h our. Oa this occasion the
run waa made with a tive-pas-tenter

had ever gained a speed record
at Brooklands.
Spurred on by the victory ot
the American ear, a Delags equip
ped with a sports body set out to
retrieve the record for France,
and exceeded the Graham-Paige
sedan'a figures by a wide margin,
averaging 83.08 miles per hour
and 88.87 miles per hour respec
