'ERE is the new-type lire tliut in one
month established u new sales reronl
lu the city of Akron- the toughest tire mar
ket in the whole world.
The stoYy of how Miller did it is a story that
honld influence every thinking ear owner in
this city. Here it in oh it uetuully happened.
Miller introduced in the eity of Akron a re
markable new tire. A tire new in design, new
in upjwarancei new in materials, the finest tire
in fuel that .kill, experience and manufactur
ing resources could produce. We honestly be
lieve it. is the' finest tire anyone has ever pro
duced bar none.
It was expected that this great new tire, would
create interest even in Akron. For it embod
ies ideas in tire making never before equalled.
The response was immcdiutc and overwhelm
ing. Nothing like it hud ever been seen in
Akron before.
t
On the day following the announcement,
one Akron dealer sold 61 of these tires. By
the end of the first month Akron dealers had
old hundreds. In fact Akron, the inost criti
cal tire market in the world, absorbed many
tires which we had expected to ship elsewhere.
Aiid the demand bus continued unabated.
Wliy?
Because there has never been a tire like it. Re
cause it fills u need that bus long been felt by
thousands for a tire you need not be afraid
to drive und abuse, if necessary.
. 50 Thicker Tread
60 Greater Carcass Strength
The tread has been built thicker more mas
eive to resist the grinding wear of faster driv- .
ing and quicker stopping. The new tread de
sign grips and holds on wet, slippery road
surfaces, und is cut extra deep to give thou-y-
sands of inileshiore traction. '
And beneath this heavy tread is a carcass- of
untaxing new strength with a double thick
layer of pure gum between the plies.
With this tire on your ear you need not
worry about punctures, blowouts or road
delays. You will probably never puncture it
from ordinary causes. And you buy it know
ing lha: it will last us long as you are likely
to keep y our ear.
Tested Abused Proved
The Deluxe Itailoon has been through tho
hardest tests ever given a tire. It has with
stood every test of rough roads, high speeds,
continuous driving und high temperatures.
Naturally, this tire is somewhat higher priced
than regular lines. It's worth every cent you
pay for it and more. Ask the Miller Dealer
to show it to you. Compare it. Judge, for
! yourself, the merits "of this tire that lias won
the hardest tire market in the world.
