Burglary Case
Is Being Tried
MEDFORD. Ore., Dec. 7. Tho
trial of II. McElroy, charged with
burglary at Cold Hill three weeks
ago, will begin in the circuit court
this afternoon and the chief witness
es against tho defendant will be
Richard Dunn, a 13 year old Oak
land, Calif., boy, who Is alleged to
have been Induced by McElroy to
commit the burglaries. McElroy Is
about 27 years of age.
Dunn ran away from home and
met McElroy at San Jose, Calif., the
pair coming north, according to tho
boy's story to tho police, finally gel
ling to Gold Hill, where they wero
arrested.
