of Portland at the fair grounds
field.
The came will start promptly
at 1 o'clock in order that it can
be over in plenty of time for the
Thanksgiving dinners later m
the day.
The Benson learn will he put
to an expense of $430 in making
the lonir jaunt to Klamath halls
and although thov have been
given no guarantee, the local
school is anxious to net this
amount in order that friendly
relations might be established
between Klamath Falls and the
Portland schools.
The Benson Polytechnic team
stood fourth in the Portland
city league this year, there be
ing five teams below them in
percentage. This makes the
team a little better than the av
erage high school team in Port
land and will give Klamath peo
ple an opportunity to get a good
line on the ability of the local
boys.
The Klamath team for years
oast has cut no figure in south
ern Oregon football. It general
ly has been in the cellar, but this
year it has shown wonderful im
provement and stands second
only to Medford. It ought to be
a fast game m every branch ot
football and the p c o p le of
Klamath will be assured a good
Thanksgiving program if they
will go out and support rue lo
cal boys.
