A bootlegger, whose riibonshine whiskey is held re
sponsible for the death yesterday noon of Orin A. La
Course, age 29, Southern Pacific office clerk, is being
sought today by authorities.
Somewhere in the vicinity of the so-called "Cabbage
Patch" is the whiskey vendor who sold to La Course the
liquor which resulted in his death a few hours later.
Identity of the liquor purveyor was not known today by
authorities but no effort will be spared in uncovering
his lair. '
Cause of La Course's death was declared to be acute
alcoholism by Dr. E. D. Johnson who performed an au
topsy at Whitlock's mortuary this morning.

Identity of La Course, according to Deputy County
Coroner I. A. Towey, was defiintely established this
morning by Miss Lois Bynon, a former sister-in-law, La
