Here this time to stay, Marshall
Fields of Marshfield, Ore., arrived
in Klamath Falls last night accom
panied by his wife. Mr. Fields will
be one of the men In charge of the
new Munger laundry which is in
process of construction on the south
west corner of Fourth and Klamath
avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Fields will
make their home in Klamath Falls.
They are now registered at the Hall
hotel.
TESTIFY AT MEDFORD
Caught In t-ie subpoena dragnet
that is depopulating Klamath Falls
this week, a number of county of
ficials left last night and this morn
ing ifor Medford where they will ap
pear as witnesses in cases that are
being tried there. Sheriff Hawkins,
Deputy Sheriff Lon Burke, former
state prohibition tvgent. Fred Snyder.
Justice of the Peace E. X. Kendall,
were among those who drove over
the Cascades to Medford this morn
ing. They will remain in Medfor.l
until called upon to testify, which
may be to the latter part of the
week.
