ern lines was a visitor in Klamath
Falls tod. when Howard Ell'.ott
of Now York City, chnlrman of the
board of directors, of the Northern
paoKfc, arrived in the -city from
Crater Lake.
Mr. Elliott, who was accompanied
by Chief Engineer Wlnchell, of the
S. P. & S., and his assistant G. V.
Llutner, spent several hours in
Klamath Falls inspecting certai t
propertlos in the city which the
Northern lines are Interested In and
then left for uikeview.
Mr. Elliott nnd his party plan to
remain In Lakevlew tonight and
then leave tomorrow morning for
Bend. The trip of the rail official
is primarily one of inspection, sim
ilar to that made several months
ago by Louis W. Hill, chairman of
the hoard of directors of the Great
Northern railroad.
This is Mr. Elliott's first trip thru
