Two of the Dehllnger boys, Glenn
and Harold, will also show potatoes

The first entries in the beef cat
tle division were turned in to the
office of the fair board today by
the Shorthorn breeders. West and
Walters, of the Edgedalo herd. Ho-
eontly a splendid young shorthorn
i bull, Collynie Violet's I'ritlo, was
1 imported from the famous Itlack-
hawk ranch in Dontra Costa county,
California, and will be among the
animals entered for the county fair.
Villager Lady, the herd sire, la
winner of many a blue. Inheriting
tin? splendid qualities of his famous
sire, Prince Villager. Two young
bulls, Kdgedalc Ardmoro and Edge
dale Gainford, will compete with
their kind In the senior and junior
I bull calf classes, respectively. MRtch-
Uttfl Missus is entered for the aged
cow class and has to date shown the

West and Walters have also en
tered for Rraded herd which com
prises one ased bull and four fe
males of various oeos; yearling herd
of one bull and two hellers: pair
of calves and get of sire which ne
cessitates the showing of four nnl-
mals any age, both sex to be repre
sented. Showing that tin y are true "chips
off the block" young Don West
and Tom Watters. Jr., have enter
ed their purebred baby beef calves,
Edgedale Villager and Hod Villager,
for the senior and Junior calf class
es and the Klrst National bank's
special $25 prlie for baby beet.
All In all, the West & Watters
exhibit will be well worth seeing
and it is anticipated and predicted
by the men that know, the herd if
taken across the Cascades and to
the state fair, will give some of the
more advertised Shorthorn herds
some extremely sad momenta when
the awards are handed out.

Flynn, famous star of the movies
and national standard bearer of the
United Statea Association of Left
handers, recently organized In Los
Angeles, has come again to enter
tain local theatergoers. Klynn's star
ring vehicle is "The Millionaire
Cowboy," and It will be the feature
attraction at tho Liberty theater tonight.

A versatile show, heralded as a
winner, with novel idens. beautiful
girls and an abundance ot whole
some comedy, will be presented at
Tho Pine Tree tonight. Campbell,
Forgay and Sumner la one of the
best singing acts in vaudeville. Their
voices combine in soothing and rest
ful harmony. Brooks and Noble in
"Foolllght Keandala" (a a delightful
melange of comedy, song and patter.
I'rincewi Choc Chin Toy, Chinese
comedienne of Canton, fhlnn, Is a
very fascinating personage. The
Princess was educated In America
and speaks English and sings Ameri
can songs like our own girls.
Palmer and Huston In "Popples"
are character impcmo'iatluns full of
bright remarks, catchy songs and
lively daadng steps. Blondy llob
fnson. the eccentric comedian, has
"educated feet" In addition to the
happy faculty ot telling stories that
are really humorous.
Milton Sills, film hero, steps again
out of (he camera's eye onto the
screen at the Pine Tree theater to
night when his Intest First National
drama "I Want My Man," opens for
a week's run.
In this latest appearance Sills is
co-featured with Doris Kenyon and
supported by a cast which includes
Phyllis Haver. May Allison, Paul
Nicholson. Kate Bruce and others.
Film fans will find an Interesting
contrast between Sills' notable role
in "The So,t Hawk" and his charac
terization In "I Want My Man." The
latter Is that of a war blinded soldier
who returns cured after eight years
In Frpnce to find this country steeped
in a tatania of pleasure chasing.

from the novel, "The Interpreter's
House." by Strtithers Burt.

lected to pitch. The lanky right

relieve him.
