Big Picnic Sunday
Sunday will mark the annual
Klamath county Catholic picnic,
which gives promise of being one of
the largest the church has ever held,
plans being made to take care of
500 people, by the ladles of St.
Mary's Altar society, who are to
serve lunch at noon. The picnic will
be held at the Martin Green ranch
located near Siemens oil well.
A sports program Including a
baseball game between the city and
country people, races and a wheat
binding contest tor the ladies, has
been arranged for by Edward Der-
van and C. Bossier who are In charge
ot tho program for the Knights of
Columbus. ?
Open air mass will be hold -t the
ranch at 10:30 Sunday morning.
Cars will leave Klamath Falls tar
the ranch at 0:45 In the morning
from tho Lyceum hall. The Martin
Green ranch is located 8 miles south
east of Klamath Falls and one mllo
north of tho Slemen's oil well. It
Is one of the show places of this
section, being a large yellow ouo,
