MAKE THE MOST OK. . ;
YOUR BEAUTY -: , .... ,
WHATEVER IT MAY BE :
Every one ougit'tj be Interested
in an appearance which is aitUctlve
and pleasing to others. Why should
we presume 'lb be a blot on a land
scape of so much natural beauty?
It " is a personal satisfaction to
know that we are making the most
of ourselves.
To rUdlate a truly beautiful spirit
and tj be sure ct a sincere manner
and oarm of presence, we must be
kindly In our thoughts as well as
our words. The beauty which really
lasts must be more than skin deep.
No one can be beautiful or In
teresting who does not get enough
sleep. Students and other workers
who fall to get enough rest are
Usually short .sighted and stupid.
They ate trying Is make bricks with

HUMMER. HEAHON TIME OF
IMPROMPTU 'AFFAIRS
Social i flutterlngs even of the
gentlest kind were scarcely heard at
all this week, although those whose
necesslty-or inclination are keeping
them here are really having a most
enjoyable time. ' Especially Is this
true when one's Intimates are also
near at hand and can bo dependod
upon to augment a dlnnor or a
luncheon party of . the Impromptu
kind, which goes with the summer
season. The motor car as a link be
tween the place where one sees a
pleasant opportunity to wile away an
evening has revolutlonled the life
of the business man who becomes a
stay-at-home for the best of reason
his duty. ,
Families will take tholr outings
this and next month, where there
are young people, to whom life
comes again with autumn, and for
whom homes must be reopened.
