income from automobile taxes for
the re-construction, widening or re

road building machinery, four per
cent for new bridges, two percent on
new surface materials and two per
cent oa research work. American
methods ot drainage have already
boon adopted in tho southern part
ot the country and, allowing tor dif
ferences In climate, the American
stylo ot surfaces probably will be
followed. The scientists In charge
have found that ot all countries, the
