Anybody who thinks steer riding is an easv sport ought to set out
to thu Rodeo this week and try It. It's a dangerous little pastime, too.
Ono of the riders this afternoon was knocked unconscious, while another
got a few bad bruises when he tumbled from the back of his steer.
This is but. one of the m.uiy attractions at the bii; Kodeo at ihe fair

Colonel Coofidge
Now Much. Better
PLYMOUTH, Vt.. July 1. (?)
The condition of Colonel John Cool
id ge was so satisfactory today that
the president decided to return to
Swampscott, Mass., without delay.
Preparations were made for a de
parture shortly before noon. , The
entire trip was to be made by motor.
One of the reasons for a quick re
turn to Massachusetts was the presi
dent's engagement to deliver an ad
dress Friday at Cambridge at the
celebration of the 150th anniversary
of Washington taking over command
of the continental army.
