of tho city council, chamber of com
merce and clearing house associa
tions. Structural engineers were
asked for Immediately.

to the Pilot Butte Inn, famous with
travelling men and tourists from
many parts of the United States,
which caught fire through a short
circuit to tho cash register In tho
diniug roiiu late yesterday Is esti
mated at iietwoen $2500 and $3000.
Damage was confined to the din
lug' room buffet, cash register and
costly docoretlons. Tho famous pic
ture window was not damaged.

NOTICE WILLOW VALLEY
, IRRIGATION DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that a spec
ial bond election will be held on the
fourth day of August, 1925, at the
hereinafter specified pulling place
in Willow Valley Irrigation District,
Klamath County, Oregon, to deter
mine whether bonds of said District
in the sum of TWENTY THOUSAND
($20,000.00) DOLLARS shall be
issued for the purpose of providing
funds for procuring necessary recla
mation works, including the riprap
ping of the upstream face of tho
storage dam, acquiring the neces
sary property and .rights therefor,
for the purchase and acquisition of
canals, reservoir sites, for work and
construction, for payment of first
four years interest to accrue on said
bonds, and for otherwise carrying
out the provisions of law.
The polls shall be opened at eight
o'clock on tho morning of the elec
tion and be kept open until five
o'clock in the afternoon, when the
snmo must bo cfosod.
At such election the ballots shall
contain the words "BONDS YES"
and "BONDS NO."
The Board of Directors have
specified tho following polling place
