Kewhouse, who waa employed as
an offbearer for the Nine brothora,
got hia right arm caught in the rol
ler. Before he could save hlmaelf,
the arm was pulled off and the man
died a few seconds later from shock.

Evangeline Newbouse, a daughter,
Mildred, aged 9: and two sisters and
a father In Holland. v
NewhouBe was an experienced mill
worker. He bad worked with the
Ewauna Box company for eight
months preceding the accident at
tho Shasta View mill.
According to reports, the mill was
Inspected by a representative of the
state industrial accident commission,
several- days before the tragedy and
was reported in good shape.
