got to the Klamath country, and
why the Southern Pacific is fighting
the entrance of the Hill lines, are
graphically displayed. 'In a railroad
map on the front page of the mag
azine section of the Sunday Oregon
inn which arrived here last night.
The enlightening features of the
mifp are the tracings of the routes
of the two lines which the Hill lines
propose building to Klamath Falls,
in branching off from Odell and
following a south easternly course
as far as the Sycan river, then
swinging gradually south and west
through Beatty and Olene to Klam
ath Falls; the second branching West
of Odell junction and running, par
allel to tho Southern Pacific, to a
point opposite Kirk, where the road
branches south by west and follows
along the edgo of the Cascade range
paralleling 'the upper Klamath lake,
swinging Into Klamath Falls by way
of Link River. .
