DIVORCE SOUGHT
AFTER 31 YEARS
OF MARRIED LIFE
After clear sailing fur 51 years,
the marriage bark of William and
fctfte Caldwell Is foundering on the
rocks. Mrs. Caldwell brought suit
tor divorce from William Cuklwell,
in circuit court yesterday. .
Mrs. Caldwell in. her complaint,
Alleges her husband was possessed
of a violent temper. She cites In
stances of alleged cruel and Inhu
man treatment when her husband
would fly Into a Violent rage nud
tear the door from Its hinges nnvl
when he threatened to kill her. She
says that he has thrown her to the
floor violently when In the grips of
his rngo. " .
Mrs. Caldwell wants the custody
of the only child of five, that Is
still of minor age.' She also wants
title to lots one anil two, block tour
of Buena Vista addition.
MRS. WILSON FAILS
TO OBTAIN ALIMONY
IN DIVORCE ACTION
. Not only did Pearl Wilson fall to
make good on her claim lot (10,000
alimony In her divorce suit against
Edwin Wilson, prominent Klamath
Indian, but she also tailed to mnko
good on her demand for custody of
their faur minor children, according
to a divorce decree banded down
yesterday by Judge A. L. Leavitt.
Mrs. Wilson was the plaintiff in
tie suit. She wus refused a divorce
from .her husband, but her husband,
who also prayed for a divorce from
Mrs. Wilson, in his answer to the
complaint, was granted the decree.
