A general feeling of optimism
among both dry farmeds and farm
ers on Irrigation projects, ii re
ported by County Assessor Bill Lee,
and his deputy. Maurice Johnson,
following extensive assessing trips
to all sections of the couaty.

"Last year, the spirits of dry
farmers were down to zero," ho ex
plained. "Lack of rain during the
early spring, when it was most need
ed contributed to crop failures. This
year however, rain has fallen at a
