Sprague River ' Residents
Discussing Location'
of New School
Logical location of the new coun
ty school to bi erected at Sprague
river this summer, and to be ready
for use' next fall, is half way be
tween the settlement proper of
Sprague and the Campbell-Towle
Lumber company located on Sprag
ue river, It has been decided, Coun
ty School superintendent Fred Pet
erson said today. Mr. Peterson has
Just returned from Sprague river
where he conferred with residents
of that conrai unity on the project.
Inasmuch '- as 12 or 15 small
houses for ' mill .workers at the
Campbell-Towle' mill, are being
erected, It would be a mistake to
locate the BChool to? far away from
the mill, Mr. Peterson explained.
Final arrangements for the new
school building' will be made at an
early date and a contract -will prob
ably be let late this spring.
The road to Sprague river, lead
ing froth Dairy, out through Hllde
brand and the Squaw Flat country,
is In bad shape Mr. Peterson said.
It is Just a shade better than im
passable. The mill at Sprague River Is now
cutting about 35,000 board feet; a
day. .v ''.-.'-.

BERLIN, April 24. Housing fa

that the question ot living quarters
not Infrequently has a deterrent ef

Once a couple is divorced each
party normally would seek another
place to live, but lack of suitable
dwellings often compels them to
divide up their apartment and con

'But such procedure seldom has re
