Only one auto camp ground in
Klamath county has thus far obeyed
the new atata law relating to sani
tary conditions, according to an
nouncement today ' by Dr. G. S.
Newsom, county health officer.
The law, which carried an em
ergency clause and was passed at
the last legislative session, requires
that all auto tourist camps, whether
free or otherwise, must apply for
and procuro .a j health certificate
from the stalo board of health,
through the county health officer.
Among tho requirements are a
s.i le water supply,a proper disposal
of sowagei garbagn and other-Traate",
and enforcement ot measures pro
viding .for. tKo pri'yetitlon and con
trol of communicable diseases.
The Altamont auto park has un
dergone the required health Inspec
tion and has been .given Its' certifi
