ot March and April, has pracUcally
subsided according to reports from
the local hospitals, schools and
health department.
Thought to bo a continuation ot
tho widespread epidemic ot Influ
enza on rh,o Atlantic seabord dur
ing January, the disease became
noticoablo In Klamath county dur
ing February and gradually increas
ed In Intensity up unt.ll tho middle,
ot March when several deaths wero
reported.
Hundreds ot Indiana on tho Klam
ath Indian reservation wcro stricken
with tho disease. In several cases
halt tha enrollment at a rural
school woro out because of flu. In
othqr cases tha teacher's Illness
forced a temporary - dismissal of
