of the Klamath Irrigation
district this morning, of
ficials of the local bureau of
reclamation announced this
morning.
,The amount of water will
be increased gradually until
the canal will be carrying a
capacity flow by May 1.
It is the plan of the recla
mation office to fill the ir
ricration canal gradually in
order that any faults in the
main canal , mar be detected wnnc

the proposed Montague Irrigation
district at the election, at Montague
yesterday. The overwhelming ma
jority means that the organization
ot the district will be rushed through
and bonds will be placed on the mar
ket. The district will Include 22,-
000 acres and the main ditch will
be 37 miles long. .If no court en
tanglements follow tho electkm, the
Shasta Valley area affected will be
