Knrl Ritchie, well known local
heavyweight fighter, will bo match

heavyweights of tho PncJfli' coast to
the main event ot boxing: cnrtl to
be staged In Klamath Full within
tho next few weeks, K wns announc
ed today by lVoiiiotor J. K. Patter
son today. ,
Tho threo heavyweights, ono ot
whom will clash with tho local scrap
per are Rocco Strambo ot Portland,
Jimmy Barry of j& Angeles and
Sammy Olson of Seattle. Ritchie
should be able to give any ot the
threo a wonderful fight, according
to Promoter Patterson.
Perhnps the best known of tho
threo heavy wolghts Is Barry,, who
ha been taking on tho best heavy
weights of "the oountry for years.
Barry Is a clever scrapper with a
heavy punch and years ot ring ex
perience behind him. To offset this,
Ritchie has the youth and strength
to put Barry to sleep If he would
not lose his ring confidence.
Rocco Strambo and Ritchie would
bring the fans to their feet In a ton
round go. Strambo, is a heavy
puncher with an iron chin and gamo
to the core. Ritchie Is perhaps tast
er than the Portland boy and 'Would
stand a good chance ot rocking
Strambo to sleep along about the
ninth round.
Little Is known here of Sammy
Olson, except that he Is a fast fight
er with a punch llko the hoof of a
mule In either hand. ;
