lakeH of Scotland, from which they are named, survive
in Klamath waters? This is the question which authori
ties at the Klamath hatchery on Crooked creek are
asking each other and it is the question which will be
answered soon after a half million of the trout at the
hatchery are planted in the small lakes which grace the
east slope of the Cascade range in Klamath.
One half million of the trout were shipped last winter
to the hatchery from Montana. According to Deputy
