Letltlu Stampley, aged 70 years, died
this morning at 3 a. m. at her resi
dence in Poe valley; Mrs. Stampley
had , been falling for some time
previous to the end. She nv-is born
November t), 1854, in Heinz county,
Mississippi. She was the widow of
the late William Stampley of thi
county. The family is well known
throughout' the section in which
they live. She Is survived1 by sev
eral children. Funeral services have
been deferred pending definite
