Mr. Hobbs died from complications
following asthma. A prominent mer
chant formerly in business for him
self and for the past two yenrs man
ager of the .Merrill Mercantile store,
Mr. Hobbs was, a well llkod and re
spected member of his community.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs.
Frnnkte Hobbs; two sisters, Mm. Sul
