of attention.it will get. Mr. Stewart will not. be drastic, and
will be careful not to work an Injury to anyone, but. he will
protect the .fund and at the same time give the .borrowers
every possible chance to work out. It takes a certain .type of
man to do this work, 'and Mr. Stewart is the right tvpe:

KLAMATH DeVKATS MKURILL
Tie for Cup Score 17-16
In the hardest fought and most
spectacular game of the season,
Klamath HI' emerged victor by a
one-pblht margin. Merrill's chance
for victory was gone when two foul
shots wehe shot and both missed
after the close of the game. Klgc'r.
who shot for those fouls, convert
ed 6 out of 7 chances during tho
game. it was only over-oxclte-
ment that caused him to fall down
on these.
Much credit it due the Merrill
boys for . the teamwork displayed,
but the Klftmnth quintet deserved
the victory tor the fight they show
ed at every point In the game. Tho
game between thb two schools was
ever so closely contested. The dnt
come was very uncertain until the
final whistle blew. ' - A -
The Merrill boys made 4 points
before Klamath ,scorcd and were one
point ahead at the end of tho first
half, the score being 8 to 7. In
the last half one team ' Would be
ahead tor minute and then 'the
otbor. Klamath took the lead about
the' last few minutes and kept It.
Excellent guarding by Hall and
Molatore, by far tho best this sea
son, was one of the outstanding
factors of the Victory. The fight
pnt in by Beckley, Graham, Soule
and Barnes is also worthy of men
tion. , Beckley iwas high point man
for the winners, with 12 points to
his credit. ' 'X ' - .
