Prevailing market conditions, the country
wide demand for good hydro-electric securities,
and the approaching completion of the Com
pany's new developments, which will materi
ally increase the net earnings, now justify this
increase in price of the Preferred Capital Stock.

schools ot Klamath county will bo
asked to enter teams In the annusl
track meat to be held at. the county
fair grounds, Klamath Fulls, Satur
day, May 9." This Is the second year
ol the county meet, and the ,flrst
year that all schools in the county
will be urged to participate. Tho
meet will bo known as tho "Klam
ath County Track and Field Mcot."
With the facilities that tho fatr
grounds offer, with the date set for
Saturday .liefore any of tho schools
of the county have clonod, and with
nearly all. If not all, of tho schools
entering teams,, tho.'mcet should be
largely attended from nil parts of
the county. This bringing together
of tho various grade schools and
high schools will go far. It is hoped,
toward raising the spirit of rivalry
among the schools to a higher level.
It Is also hoped that aa increased
Interest in the schools and in edu
cation in general will be a result.
Details of tho meet have not yot
been worked out, but at the meet
ing ot school- principals, Saturday.
March 7, a skeleton outline ot tho
meet was agreed upon', and commit
tees appointod to work out the do
tails. A second meeting of the prin
cipals has been scheduled for Sat
urday, March 21. Following this
meeting a letter mill go out to all
