( The wide and shallow
firebox has many advantages
The correct design and liberal
proportion of this Pacific Coait
firebox insure quick cooking and
baking. It brings the heat di
rectly up under the cooking top
and gives "volume' heat distri
bution entirely around oven. It's
a fuel saver alto.
This French cooking top
is indeed a desirable
' feature.'
This style of top, universally used in hotel ranges, has
advantages that readjly adapt itself to horn use. . Heat
quickly and holds more heat than the partitioned top;
consequently is more economical. Being very smooth, .
and with large flat surface, cooking utensils fit snugly to
it. Steaks, chops, fish, eggs and hot cakes can be
cooked directly on the French top. as in hotels and res
taurants, particularly where the home is equipped with a
hood. The French top is shown on the accompanying
illustration of the. Buffet range. - .

RANGE

with French Cooking top
The firm that manufactures this splendid range
has been designing and manufacturing ranges for
Pacific Coast use for over forty years. They know
just what the conditions out here are and they
build ranges to meet them. They know that a
wide, shallow firebox is better adapted to Western
fuel than any other type of firebox. This very
feature is sufficiently important in itself to recom
mend it as the range for you to buy.
