Tho Merrill firemen gave their
annual Washington birthday ball
Friday evening. Tho hall was beau
tifully decorated appropriate to tho
the . day. The crowd was not as
largo as some times but a very
good tfme was had by those, unend
ing. Tho supper' was served by tha
Merrill Library club. They realiz
ed something like f50 from the
supper, this will be used for the
upkeep of the Library.
The - basket ball game" Friday
evening In the gym, between Agency
and Merrill was won by Merrill. The
girls gamo was also won by Morrill.
Merrill Is still ahead and hopes to be
able' to get (ho cup this time. Sup
per was served by Merrill to tho
Agency tewn In the Cafeteria.
The boy scouts sold pop corn
during the game. Tho money will
be turned Into the scout treasury.
