Junior Van Enion, called as first
witness' for the state at beginning
of the afternoon session, testified
to finding a check book near his
home a few days following the rob
bery. . This was Identified by his
father, W. C. Van Emon as being
the one now In possession of the
state.
J. J. McManus testified that he
was present the night ot the rob
bery. He. identified the gun and
flashlight in possession of the state
as being similar to that used by
the tall man. He could not Iden
tify any of the robbers, lip said.
McManus reiterated that the tall
man had the .45 calibre gin. Ht
