Goes'Any Place on Earth Where There Is
Work to Do
The following is an account of what they are doing on the other
side of the Globe
Fifty 5-ton tracks were shipped by the General Motors
Truck Company in November to Tokio, Japan. .They will be
used in hauling away debris and doing general construction
work caused by the recent earthquake.
With the arrival of this consignment, more than 80 General
Motor truck3 will be engaged in cleaning up the mined sections
of the island empire. '
Twenty years ago this work,, now being clone by the Gener
al Motors trucks, would have fallen to the lot of the coolie. He
would have carried away most of the debris on his back. Thou
sands would have bee,n- engaged v.l the task.-;' -
With the use of the truck, Jaipan: is now making' great
strides towards reconstruction, and it only will be a compara-'
tively short time before the devastated regions will have -been
completely; restored. . . ., ' ,'-.-'-. ', ;. .. '
The G.M.C. can help with your hauling problems right here
