The commusity social given at tb
schoolhonae Saturday night was well
attended and an enjoyable time was
spent. The event was In honor of
Norma Stllca, Paul Arnett and Les
ter Robin, who graduated from the
eighth grade last spring and are now
attending high rbool In Klamath.
Falls. A short program was given by
the pupils of the school after which
lunch was served by the ladles of the
community and games were played
by the young people. An Interesting
feature of the program was short
talk on the subject "Why I Like
High School," by a number of high
school students who were present.
This woa supplemented bp addresses
by three visiting teachers. Miss Han-
sick of HRderbrand and Mis Lenra
Olson ot Upper Swan Lake and Miss
Montgomery, principal of Hllder-
brand school. Mr. Delia Nichols, a
teacher Of Swan Lake, expressed the
hope that all tho pupils would not
only become high school students Is
due time bat that they would re
main In school until they had grad
uated.
