Merrill peoplo were much surpris
ed to learn of the marriage .of Miss
Elda Offield and Fred Fletcher of
Klamath Falls which wa3 held at
the home of the bride Friday morn
ing, June 29. The bride is the eldest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. -Geo. W.
Offlold, pioneer residents of Mor
rill. She is a .graduate of Merrill
high school, class of 1'19. She at
tended the. V. of O. and also the
normal at Monmouth and for the
past "two years has been teaching in
Klamath Falls.
