Frank Sexton, county club loador, says they were the best . looking and best bohavod delega tion there, and Is proud of the reoords they made, a well as ot their appearance. The children re turned Sunday evening, and all re port a glorious time. Klamath county took first place In the stunt contest put on oe bveniug Irr the Y. M. C. A. build ing on the campus, when they gave Red Cross stunt and a clinic stunt, n which club members from other counties were their "pat ients." Songs and club yells under the leadership ot Letba and Lena Miller made a hit with the large audience that attended the enter tainment, said Sexton, and the ac-j robatic stunts of Lena Wilier J brought forth much applause. The stunts were judged on originality and effectiveness, and the judges stated that Klamath county was far ahead ot the other places in number of points. The member's ot the club are proud ot the record made by their baseball team, which was victorious In four games out of five. The fifth was a tie. Hainaker. Gooj records were made In the studies of the members, which, for the -boys, included milk testing, poultry work raising, judging, cull ing poultry and grading eggs soils, small fruits, bacteriology, livestock judging, potato growing, garden work and general dairy work. The Four H club stunt show Wednesday eved- ing put on many Interesting and or iginal stunts. The Klamath county clubs carried away first honors with three features on their program. The four shy young men who were call ed to the platform to assist In a first aid demonstration, in the first feature, were surprised to find !n- ! stead of neatly bandaged hands, a life-like dummy baby cuddling In their arms. The second feature of the winning stunt was a group of acrobatic stunts by Lena Miller one of the Klamath yell leaders. The contortions which she wont through were quite out of the ordinary. Klamath's program ended with a "clinic" In which several prominent counties were examined for ailments unsuspected among such active dele gations. This is the second time Klamath has won the laurels for Despite .the fact that It rained I stunt evening. all the time they were gone, the boys and girls had a jolly as well as an educational two weeks. The ears were decorated with club ban ners and rodeo banners, giving thi rodeo some excellent advertising. The children sang songs and gave their club yells in the many dif ferent" towns through which they passed, to the appreciation of spec tators and auditors, t Beside Sexton, R. W. Several stunts by other delega tions were good also. Josephine connty put on a pig judging contest which was well carried out and won many chnckles from the audience. The boys in the stunt had used it in their home community before leaving for summer school.. In that way they earned money for their expenses while here. Jackson county built a mimic campfire around which the delegation gather to crack jokes about summer school people and events.
