KLAMATH VALLEY HOSPITAL
i
Pine at Fourth Street
t Klamath Falls, Oregon '
HERE IS A "SUCCESSFUL" HOSPITAL
How can it be otherwise, with its excellent equip
ment, splendid location and reputation maintained
for good service? Patients of the hospital are
friends of the hospital, and guard its success.
"Word of mouth" advertisement goes a long
way. Patients are coming from Northern Califor
nia and the Northwest, and Klamath Falls is being
advertised as a growing city with a good hospital
and safe living conditions.
Tell your friends and relatives, and thereby
share your hospital's successes.

near future, when tho principal

I The second fcaluro of our forest
problem Is the unproductive condi
tion of Immense areas of land which
aro not adapted to agriculture.
The amount of unproductive land
, left in th0 wako of sawmills or
abandoned by tho farmer has as
sumed enormous proportions. Our
merchantable timber Is being cut
at tho rate of 4,000,000 or 5,000,
000 acres annually, and enormous
areas of logged-oft land havo ac
cumulated which aro not fit for
cultivation, but-on which llttlo or
no new timber Is being grown. The
extent to which theso millions of
acres of Idlo land havo been swelled
by tho ebbing tldo of cultivation In
