At tho start cf tbo second half they
started their scoring again and IV
looked llko an easy victory for them
until Arthur Peck and Herbert I-an

that soon ran tbo high school's scoro
high enough to enable them to win.
Four of ho academy boys In the

another player In tho last of the
second half. I To scored 10 points by
throwjug five baskets, In quick suc

Cofer each scored a, basket and f.an
die threw one foul.
Although tho blah school made
frequent substitutions, out of all th?
men that played only two had over
hdd any experience prior to this
year, which accounted large: Mr
their poor passing and shooting.
In the sophomere-senlor game the
sophomores had It nil their way,
srorlng four points In the first half
und eight points In the last half.
(lertrude Smith, Frances Heed.
and Mary Whltellne starred for tbo

game, being greatly responsible for
not allowing the seniors to score.
Gertrude Smith threw threo baskets
and Frances Heed threw two bask
ets.' Anna Mlchaclsou scored tbo re
maining basket.
In tho Jiinlor-treshmcn game tho
Juniors had tery llttlo troublo In win
