game of tho season. Tho final
worn was 15 to 12. In the girls'
(lass games thn sophomores had on
easy victory ovor the seniors, win
ning 12 to 0, and the Juniors de
feated the freshmen 12 to S, mak
ing three victories and no defeats
The fight put up by the acad
emy boys, who mado no subitltU'
lions during tho game, was con
sidered highly commendable. Tho
score at the end ot tho first half
was C to 0 lo tho academy's favor.
At tho start cf tbo second half they
started their scoring again and IV
looked llko an easy victory for them
until Arthur Peck and Herbert I-an
dls, substituting for two other high
school players, started a combination
that soon ran tbo high school's scoro
high enough to enable them to win.
Four of ho academy boys In the
team are in high school while the
other li in tl-eighth grade.. Four
bo)s who nro in high school have all
played before but bat'o practiced
very little this year. The other boy,
who is In the eighth grade, has never
played any basketball prior to this
year. Ileorge Connors and Archie
Marshall starred for the academy.

was very poorly attended, and this
fact was a matter ot disappointment
to those Intorestod In hunting and
fishing In Klamath county. Several
questluus ot vital Importance wero
to have been taken up, but on ac
count of the lack ot attendance It
was thought necessary to defer dis
cussion until tho next regular nick
ing, the second Monday In January.

present, and tho matter ot securing

tho questions that was to have come
before the meeting, as woll as the
report of tho representatives recent
ly soul to tho mooting ot tho -Western
association ot Game Commission-

said an officer ot tho association.
