proving non-Rustlan citizenship, has
been permitted to leaio Russia upna

can relief administration.
When DuMellct eventually found
his Indcntlflratlon papers, ho man
aged to get a statement from Soviet
authorities acknowledging his
American citizenship, but the naval
commanders at first refused to rec
ognize those as entitling him to re
lease from naval duty. The Inter
vention of the American relief ad
ministration then was successful.
DuMellct has gono to Marls, to Join
