She also stressed the Importance of
expressing opinions in a dignified

of the country, she said, can be
traced to utterances of parents in
tho homo.
Mrs. Ponnybaeker declarod two
duties confronted American women,
"to teach Americans that Immi
grants bear gifts if wo are but wise
enough to soo them," and "that It
Is not best that the Immigrant should
live within himself."
Referring to the latter duty the
speaker declared tho policy of per
mitting aliens to live- in colonies,
away from Americanising Influences,
was wrong.
