cently that George Rasovlch, wanted
hero for the alleged slaying ot Peter
Chalovlch at Black Diamond, Wash.,
eighteen months ago had boon arrest
ed at Castol Novl, Dalmatla, and was
being hold ponding action by Amort
can authorities. Rasovlch had been
identified from a photograph and
description carried In a circular
which Stnrwich, then deputy shortff,
had sent out mor'o than a year ago
Sheriff Starwlch cablod Dalmatian
authorities to hold Rasovlch and
then took preliminary steps to secure
his extradition.
Chalovlch was shot from ambush,
April 4, 1920, as ho was coming
down a lonely forest-trail from his
work In a Black Diamond coal mlno,. I
In an ante-mortem statement he ac
cused -Rasovlch of tho shooting.
